Description
Beddgelert is the name of a town in Wales, and of a depressing legend which takes place there. The main characters are Prince Llewelyn and his faithful hound Gelert. I have painted the pair in a scene which takes place years before the story is set.

Thanks for all the compliments! I was trying a new method with this one- I wanted to get the look of some of older illustrated childrens' books in my collection.
